Peer Mentoring For Families of Children with Developmental Disabilities

SEEC’s Parent to Parent (P2P) program is a free and confidential service designed to connect parents and caregivers of children with special needs (age birth to 21) with trained volunteer mentors who have experience raising children with disabilities. It is based on the philosophy that peer support from veteran families is often the most helpful and accessible means of providing emotional support and practical information to parents in need. The P2P program connects parents on a one-to-one basis where contact may be made by phone, face-to-face, via email, or in groups.
