Direct Support Professional of the Month

Each month, SEEC celebrates a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who has gone above and beyond in his or her job. That person is recognized in a company-wide email and is presented with a certificate from Executive Director Karen Lee.


DSP Making A Difference” for the month of November.

Sam was recognized under the Facilitation of Services Competency
for his knowledge of the field, person-centered supports, mentoring and teamwork. Sam has built a lasting friendship with the person he supports that is widely noticed by the team, family and people that surround him. He is patient, open-minded and truly believes in the best in people. He is a great communicator, leader to other team members, and is always offering advice and guidance to others.

Sam is a true professional who spends every day looking for new ways to strengthen his relationship with the people he supports.

In short, Sam is a leader, mentor and community partner who truly understands the value of his work.

For these reasons, he is our DSP Making A Difference Award winner!

In recognition of the contributions of our Direct Support Professionals who help men and woman who receive SEEC supports to lead happy, healthy and meaningful lives, we have established the DSPs Making A Difference award. Winners will receive a gift card, certificate and will be acknowledged on plaques displayed on SEEC’s 2nd and 3rd floors, as well as our website and Facebook page!

Runner-ups will receive their nomination which includes a description of their hard work as well. Please see attached documents for further details about the DSPs Making A Difference initiative. The DSP Recognition Committee looks forward to receiving nominations for the following month!
