Each month, SEEC celebrates a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who has gone above and beyond in his or her job. That person is recognized in a company-wide email and is presented with a certificate from Executive Director Karen Lee.
DSP Making A Difference for the month of December.
Marsha was recognized under the Community Living Skills and Supports Competency for her ability to match specific supports and interventions to the unique needs of individual participants and recognizes the importance of friends, family and community relationships. Marsha goes above and beyond to engage in circle groups and support people in becoming active, connected members in their community. Specifically, Marsha has built a trusting relationship with a someone she supports that has opened possibilities for this person to engage in their community like never before. She is creative in her support approaches, is resilient in challenging situations, and can always be counted on to support her SEEC Team.
For these reasons, Marsha is our DSP of the Month winner!
Marsha, THANK YOU for all that you do!
