WORK ENVIRONMENT

Depending on the type of professional opportunity, your work environment will be different.
In the Community
If you work as a Direct Support Profession (DSP), you can expect to spend time working in the community and homes of the people we support throughout Montgomery County and Washington, D.C.
Corporate Office
If you are interested in a corporate or administrative position, you will work at SEEC’s main office located in downtown Silver Spring, MD, close to I-495, public transportation and restaurants.

WHAT'S NEXT?
For Careers Based in the Community:
- After you submit your resume, the team assigned to fill this career opportunity will review your resume. If you meet the requirements, the recruitment team will invite you for a phone screening. (2-5 business days)
- If you complete the prescreening successfully, a panel interview with the hiring manager will be scheduled. (1-2 weeks)
- If your interview goes well, you will be asked to complete a job shadowing. This will give you the opportunity to observe and ask questions before a potential job offer is made. You will also meet the terrific people SEEC supports! (1-2 weeks)
- For job offers, you will receive a congratulatory call from our HR Team and your hiring process will start. The HR team will guide you through the process until your first day of work arrives. (2-3 weeks)
- Congratulations! You are now part of our wonderful organization.
For Careers Based in the Corporate Office:
- Once you submit your application, our recruitment team will review your resume. If your qualifications meet the requirements, the recruitment team will contact you to schedule a preliminary phone screening to learn more about you. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about SEEC and the role. (1-2 weeks)
- If the phone screening went well, you will be invited for a virtual panel interview. This is an opportunity to meet the team and hiring manager. Depending on the level of position, the responsibilities, and tasks, you may be asked to complete a second in-person interview or complete an exercise. (2-3 weeks)
- If all interviews are successful, the HR Team will extend a job offer and will guide you through the hiring process until your first day of work. (3-4 weeks)
