MANDT 2-Day
Relational and Technical Chapters
Cost: $150
Mandt Training equips staff with the tools to build safe, respectful, and supportive relationships with the people they support. This training emphasizes effective communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation techniques. Participants learn how to recognize and adapt to diverse communication styles, maintain ethical documentation practices, and promote person-centered support strategies. Mandt is a foundational training for ensuring safety and dignity in disability services.
MANDT 1-Day Refresher
Cost: $100
REFRESHER: Mandt Training equips staff with the tools to build safe, respectful, and supportive relationships with the people they support. This training emphasizes effective communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation techniques. Participants learn how to recognize and adapt to diverse communication styles, maintain ethical documentation practices, and promote person-centered support strategies. Mandt is a foundational training for ensuring safety and dignity in disability services.
CPR/First Aid
Cost: $80
This course provides essential life-saving skills in CPR and First Aid, following guidelines from the American Red Cross. Participants learn how to respond to medical emergencies, apply universal precautions, and support people’s health and wellness. Completion of this training is required before providing direct support and is a critical component of SEEC’s commitment to safety and preparedness.
DSP II Trainings (5-Month Course)
Cost (Winter 2026): $400/Learner
SEEC’s DSP II Training Program is a five-month professional development experience designed for Direct Support Professionals with at least one year of experience. The program includes live monthly classes, 25 self-paced online courses, and four assignments that demonstrate mastery of key competencies such as advocacy, ethics, person-centered practice, health and wellness, risk and safety, communication, community inclusion, employment, and positive behavior support. Participants gain skills that improve job satisfaction, retention, and career advancement while enhancing the quality of support provided to people with disabilities.
